How we express ourselves

3rd grade students together with teacher Kamile analysed the theme – “How we express ourselves“. During the unit, students inquired into how we can express ourselves with the help of visual arts. We learned about different types of visual arts, the most famous visual artists and the most popular and top famous paintings in art history.
During English classes, students explored the following elements of visual arts – forms, shapes, texture, colours, colour tones and space. Students analysed “The Starry Night“ painting by Vincent Van Gogh by focusing on colours, tones and feelings evoked by the painting.
