IB: "How the world works"
2019 May 5th Grade 4
Our combined grades 1&2 class (Ms Kristina Saltonaite) were exploring weather. They analyzed and discussed different types of weather conditions and their causes. By making the Earth, the Sun and the Moon model, they learnt about the cause of the day and night and the seasons. Students drew and explained water cycle and its effect on weather. They also researched different methods to explain and predict weather and tried to construct some of the weather measuring equipment like a wind vane, a rain gauge and a thermometer.
