IB: How the world works. Weather

We have finished the unit – ‘Relationships between sun, air, land and water affect the weather’. 2nd graders inquired into weather forecasts and by daily observing the weather, filled their weather calendars. Later, they analysed and collected data as well as made conclusions about the weather in October and November, verbally or in written form. Also, students searched for information about old fashioned ways to predict the weather and tried to identify the best method/tool that helps to explain and predict weather. Assisted by the teachers, learners made barometers.
