What are the types of waste? What effect do waste have on the environment? Why is it important to participate in waste management? These questions were driving grade 3 English group students (Ms Kristina Saltonaite) throughout the unit. Students discussed different types of waste and researched their impact on the environment. They recorded the percentage of waste at home and presented the results in pie charts. Students did the recycling project and offered the ways to reduce and reuse waste. Finally, students referred to the citizens of the Earth by writing the letter with the message to show more caring and responsible attitude towards the Planet. View the gallery
