IB: Sharing the planet. Trip

Our unit – ‘Our waste management can affect our society and
environment’ is continuing and coming to an end. We are creating useful
and practical items by using various types of waste (cartoon boxes, plastic
bottles, disposable tableware).
Also, we visited UAB ‘‘KRATC‘‘ – Klaipeda region waste and management
center‘‘ where we participated in an educational activity – ‘‘Why and how
should we manage our waste?“. After getting familiar with waste
management, different types of waste and waste impact on people‘s
health and environment, we wrote a letter to our planet Earth in hopes that the letter
would help to get peoples' attention to the fact that each of us could
contribute to healthy and clean environment.
