IB unit “How We Express Ourselves“

Exploring this transdisciplinary theme, the 2nd-grade students realized that creativity manifests itself differently across various areas. Second-graders crafted short poems and texts on the winter theme, read various stories, wrote letters to Santa Claus, solved math problems, and engaged in puzzles. They enthusiastically conducted numerous experiments, drew, and enjoyed themselves.

In the English language class, while delving into the concept of creativity, students individually designed logos that captured the essence of the class. After presenting the logos, the class voted and selected the most original one. Students also discussed how individuals can express themselves through their chosen professions and sang an English song while dressed as representatives of various professions.

Concluding the theme, students decorated Advent cookies and shared them with their relatives.
