IB unit “How We Express ourselves" BOOK ADVERT

Class 4 have been engrossed in their IB Unit about ways for self-expression. They learned about types and elements of creative writing and what its purpose is.  

A survey devised and conducted by Class 4 children  showed, that the most popular writing type for self-expression was - stories. The reasons for that, according to the respondents, were as follows: you can use a range of figurative language in your stories; you can describe characters to make them become alive; you can describe settings, to help the reader „Step into the character‘s shoes“ and relive the events happening in the story.  

Because stories are so popular among our school community, the children decided to persuade even more people to get into writing and reading stories by making a book advert for their most favourite book. Hope you will enjoy looking at them.
