IB unit "Where we are in place and time". Then vs Now

During English lessons 3rd graders were involved into the inquiry of how heritage from the past can be used to construct our understanding about people’s life in the past. Students researched some world heritage sites and discussed the importance of their preservation. They also got familiar with the concept of “artefact” and learned how artifacts give us clues about people’s lives in the past. Students particularly enjoyed the activity on comparing schools then and now.
