IB: "Who we are"
2019 October 2nd Grade 3
Second-graders (teacher Vilija Monstavyčienė) discussed the structure of the eye while studying the senses in everyday life (IB topic "Who we are") and did a study on "The color of the eyes". The results were tabulated and presented in a bar chart. What is reflected in our eyes is creatively showed in works of art. We learned about Braille, discussed what is harmful to the eyes and made suggestions on how to protect them. Much debate and interest were caused because of the senses of taste and smell.
