IB: "Who we are"

IB:
2019 September 29th

Having seen and learned a lot about Lithuanian and other nations traditions and outfits from various visual sources, we decided to visit the Museum of Lithuania Minor and continue our research - "Who We Are". We were most fascinated with one detail of women's national costume - the delmon (Lithuanian women's pocket with a woven ribbon tied to the waist; specific to Lithuania Minor. That special bag made of dark material, embroidered with multicolour flowers, birds, etc.). After studying the ornaments, patterns and dominant colours of that time, we sat down to create our own delmon. We all were so happy and satisfied about the gorgeous pocket. You can visit an exhibition of these pockets in our class right now. Welcome to admire!
