 The “Invent Your Own Sport!” project

On 17 December 6th grade students working in small teams, proudly presented their invented innovative sports as part of the “Invent Your Own Sport!” project in a peer-to-peer format, where one group presented to another and received mostly positive, constructive feedback from their classmates.

Learning approach (Cambridge-aligned)

This project is a strong example of Project-Based Learning (PBL) and Communicative Language Teaching, where students actively use English to solve problems, collaborate, create, and present. It integrates 21st-century skills promoted by Cambridge, that is, creativity, teamwork, critical thinking, and real-life communication while learning through meaningful, student-centered tasks.
