international achievements

Klaipeda university, along with Economics and innovation ministry and the neighboring countries non-governmental organizations starting on September 1st begins an international project „Youth Networking for Sustainable Tourism Development in the Baltic Sea Region” (Jaunimo tinklaveika vystant darnų turizmą Baltijos jūros regione).

The purpose of the project is to uncover sustainable tourism and help the youth to achieve it, to form Sustainable Tourism Excellence Network for Youth – STENetY. Also to share sustainable tourism ideas and initiative, to nurture sustainable tourism abilities, to form Baltic sea region’s tourism vision 2030 long-term dialogue, which would add to the Baltic sea region as attractive and sustainable tourism development.

March 15th -22nd we participated in an international project „Game of Goals“ in which teams from Russia, Latvia and Lithuania competed against each other. In this competition we had teachers from „Universa Via“school English teacher Kristina Saltonaitė – Hassan and geography teacher Daiva Oestling.

Lithuanian team along with one of Russia’s teams won 1st PLACE !!!
