„Vetrungė bag – eco friend“

On the 16th of September, Klaipeda "Universa Via" international school’s first graders visited the ethnographic homestead of Jonas Gižas, a branch of the Gargždai Region Museum, and participated in the ongoing education - "Vėtrungė bag - eco friend" (Dreverna).
During the session, using markers and traditional wind vane colours and symbols students
decorated reusable shopping bags. After that, they ironed those bags with antique charcoal – heated iron so that the decorations could stay on longer.
The students also learned about the history of wind vane is a contribution to ecology.
During this trip, the students experienced many wonderful moments!
