We are happy to have won Erasmus+ accreditation!
Our high school is happy to have won Erasmus+ accreditation, valid until 31 December 2027. "Erasmus+" accreditation certificate granted to us is a confirmation that VšĮ Klaipėda “Universa Via” international school is able to organize high-quality activities for the mobility of students and teachers for learning purposes and meets the requirements of the European Commission. Also, under this accreditation, the gymnasium undertakes to comply with Erasmus+ quality standards for mobility, as well as environmental and sustainability priorities set by the European Commission for the program. To carry out new mobility activities, the school will annually receive Erasmus+ funds for job shadowing of employees in other European schools and professional development courses for employees, individual and group mobility of students, lectures by guest experts and other activities. A new fifteen-month mobility project is being implemented in June.
Our main goals are to improve the quality of STEAM education and to increase digitalisation for strengthening the engineering direction.
During this project, teachers, educational support specialists, administration representatives will enrol on qualification improvement courses, work observation mobility, during which they will get acquainted with modern methods and tools, the possibilities of organizing integral, experiential education, deepen their knowledge in the field of social-emotional competence development, establish international cooperation ties, will gain experience of schools in foreign countries, improve professional and personal competences.
A group of schoolchildren will also be sent on a mobility visit. They will perform activities based on experiential knowledge of international cooperation, which will help to effectively develop students' basic competencies, understand interdisciplinary connections, and solve real problems.
Mobility participants will be selected according to the procedure provided in the accreditation application. Information about the selection of participants will be published in manodienynas.lt for students, and for teachers by e-mail.
