Where we are in place and time
2021 April 20th
Grade 2 students together with teacher Kamile analysed the theme – “Where we are in place and time“. During the units, students inquired into the link between local surroundings and our homes.
At the beginning of the unit, students got familiar with the geographical image of Lithuania - hilly and lakeside areas and UNESCO heritage sites.
Throughout the units, children learned about different types of buildings and their locations. They realised that each building has its own function that depends on the place where the building is.
Also, second graders learned about building materials and basic elements of architecture.
