ERASMUS+ KA 121 programa 2024 - 2027 m.

Our gymnasium is delighted to have been awarded the “Erasmus+” accreditation, which will be valid until December 31, 2027. We have received the “Erasmus+” accreditation certificate – this confirms that the Klaipėda “Universa Via” International School is capable of organizing high-quality student and teacher mobility activities for learning purposes and meets the requirements set by the European Commission. By taking advantage of the benefits of this accreditation, the gymnasium also commits to adhering to the Erasmus+ quality standards for mobility and to fulfilling the European Commission’s environmental and sustainability priorities set for the program. Each year, the school will receive Erasmus+ funding for new mobility activities, including staff job shadowing in other European schools, staff professional development courses, individual and group student mobilities, guest expert lectures, and other activities. Already in June, a new fifteen-month mobility project will begin implementation.

Our goals:

  • Improve the quality of STEAM education

  • Increase digitalization to strengthen the engineering field

  • Another goal we have set is to promote intercultural understanding and cooperation by providing our community members with opportunities to experience the cultures and languages of other countries. We aim to strengthen our students’ cultural awareness, tolerance, and respect for diversity, as well as to encourage language learning, helping them acquire new language skills that are important for personal development and labor market opportunities in Europe and beyond.

During this project, teachers, educational support specialists, and representatives of the administration will participate in professional development courses and job shadowing mobilities, during which they will become familiar with modern methods and tools, explore possibilities for integrated, experiential learning, deepen their knowledge in the field of social and emotional competence development, establish international cooperation links, gain best practices from schools abroad, and improve their professional and personal competencies.

A group of students will also participate in the mobilities. They will engage in activities based on experiential international cooperation, which will help effectively develop students’ key competences, understand interdisciplinary connections, and solve real-life problems.

The participants of the mobilities will be selected according to the procedure specified in the accreditation application. Information about the participant selection process will be announced for students via manodienynas.lt and for teachers via email.
